Work begins on new STEM centre at Derby university

Work has begun on a new £12.5 million, 4,200 square-metre building for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at the University of Derby. The new centre, which will focus on real-world learning and is designed for the specific needs of engineering and computing, is expected to be completed by 2017.
