The University of Central Lancashire’s (UCLAN) new medical school has been officially opened by Dr Kate Granger MBE, a terminally ill doctor who has launched a campaign - #hellomynamesis - to bring compassion to the forefront of healthcare. The new self-funded five-year MBBS medical programme is aimed at international students and predominately at those who lack opportunities in their own country.
