Tony Tysome founded Media FHE Ltd in September 2007, following 17 years working for the Times Higher Education Supplement (now Times Higher Education).
As a writer he has covered almost every aspect of higher education. For five years at the Times Higher he also took on news editing responsibilities, before moving to Derbyshire to become Northern and Midlands correspondent. Tony has extensive experience of covering higher education internationally, taking part in visits and conferences
across the world including the United States, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. He has also chaired or taken part in panel discussions, been called upon to speak on higher education issues, and acted as a judge for international awards.
Since leaving the Times Higher Tony has written for The Guardian, The Times, the Independent, The Economist, The Times Good University Guide, University World News, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and numerous other websites and higher education publications.
