The University of Kent is offering an engineering conversion course to allow students who have undertaken previous study in other subjects to transition to engineering careers.
The University scheme is one of 28 projects across the country to receive £1.7 million to develop courses to address the skills shortage in engineering students. Kent’s School of Engineering and Digital Arts will offer an MSc in Embedded Communications Engineering and, working with the University of Bath, an MSc in Integrated Circuit Design Engineering from the 2016-17 academic year.
