A new £27 million campus development at Sheffield Hallam University has been nominated for a 2015 Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Yorkshire award. The new Heart of the Campus is a three storey landmark building including informal learning spaces, a café, rooftop garden, lecture theatre and its own courtroom for mock trials. The building is heated by ground source heat pumps, and features solar panels a green roof and rainwater harvesting.
